| Martin Budny is a Canadian/European actor of Polish/Bulgarian heritage, recognized for his work across film and television in Canada and Europe. Born in Baghdad, Iraq and spent a part of his childhood in Egypt before moving to Canada in 1987.
His diverse upbringing fostered a deep appreciation for storytelling across cultures-an influence that continues to shape his work on and off screen.
He has collaborated with directors Pawel Pawlikowski (Cold War) and Krzysztof Zanussi (The Perfect Number). His standout performances include Dr. Thomas in Echo of the Heart (3 seasons, TVP), Patrick in a Hallmark romance, FOX in Ewa Stankiewicz's war drama, and Bob in Netflix's The Taming of the Shrewd (Parts 1 & 2).
Beyond acting, he is also a practicing visual artist and holds an MFA from Transart Institute. |
